Chat, find information, ask questions - just don't be a stranger
There are nine individual Forums in the Community section, seven of which are for use by owners and two reserved for the site staff. If you own a horse on the site and haven't fallen foul of any of the Rules and Code of Conduct then you are entitled to air your say.
Whilst the Forums can sometimes appear a daunting place you will generally find a welcoming atmosphere from fellow owners, many of whom are both able and willing to proffer advice and help. On occasions you may even find that the site staff are equally charitable lol.
When starting out there are definately worse places to seek information and hints on various aspects of the game than searching these Forums. Please note it is preferable that you try to locate the information you require by using the Search facillity (located by your silks at the top of the page) prior to posting queries.
Be aware that there are Forum Rules and a Code Of Conduct (detailed in it's own special Forum) and infringements are frowned upon (some more than others) and punishments will be meted out (sometimes in a seemingly arbitrary nd Draconian fashion following a long-held tradition in the country in which the site is based - South Africa).

News
This Forum is for site staff only, owners cannot post or respond to posts here. Official announcements and news articles will be found in here.
Race Articles
This is the only other Forum in which posting is restricted to staff. In this Forum you will find race reviews written and submitted for posting by fellow owners who are officially recognised as site Press.
Auctions and Claims
This Forum is designed as a place where owners may advertise horses that they are offering for sale in either upcoming Auctions or Claiming Races. It is very much preferred that this is the only Forum in which this type of content is placed and threads of this ilk may be removed if posted on other Forums.
Competitions
A new Forum (29th Apr 2008) designed to be dedicated to site competitions.
Newbie Forum
This Forum is dedicated for new owners to ask questions and seek advice from longer-standing owners. A number of owners regularly monitor this Forum and are willing to provide answers and offer advice or mentoring. This Forum is a good source of information where it is likely you will already find answers to many of the questions you may have.
Owners Forum
This Forum is where owners chat to each other and generally contains a mix of both site and non-site related topics. It is also another rich source of information on various aspects of ownership and racing. Site staff will sometimes also post announcements or information in this Forum.
Questions/Answers
The Q&A Forum is the place to post questions of general interest to the site staff. Questions which are specific to your stable should be forwarded to the site staff via the 'Contact Us' page under the 'Help' menu or via email.
Race Programming
This Forum is designed to be used solely for comments, requests or questions specifically pertaining to the Race Program. It should be noted that this Forum is only monitored once daily during the week and is not monitored at all at weekends.
Talking Horse Racing
A Forum to air your views, tips and gossip related to real horse-racing.
Personal Messaging
A new facility (Inbox) has been added that allows owners to send private messages between one another.
To avail of this facility enter the Community section and select Inbox. Private messages that have been sent to you will automatically display. To send a new message to a fellow owner click on 'New' located inderneath the Game Stats option. Type the intended recipient in the Search Stable box - a list of matching stables will pop-up after the first 3 letters. Simply select the required stable(s) from this list.
